The Circulon 2, 3 Qt. Straining Saucepan features a built-in locking colander that is ideal for cooking a variety of foods and draining without having to clean an extra dish. Sauciers have slightly rounded sides for efficient stirring and whisking. The rounded, sloped sides differentiate it from a traditional saucepan and without corners, stirring and whisking are easier. The sloped sides also make a pan that is wider at the top than at the base. This encourages reduction of sauces through faster evaporation.
